This week allowed me to finalize my Independent Reading Inquiry. I was given a lot of time to analyze my books and create a solid presentation. When I had started the week, I felt disorganized and clueless on what exactly I was going to do. This led me to slowly develop my ideas in class and during discussion with my peers. I felt as if I learned a lot about my original inquiry which caused me to elaborate in a sophisticated way. However, the major savior of this week was the extension of the presentations to next week.
This probably helped me more than the class time because during class, I was able to come up with a game plan while the weekend allowed me to finalize my project. This was crucial for the sake of my grade, but I need to realize that it will not always be like this. This means that I need to complete my organization earlier and work faster. In general, I need to give more effort in my work because spending time coming with a good idea is pointless if I cannot finalize the idea into something useful.
Here is an article on organizing yourself to start what you finish.
